6) Water –

The simplest way to clean your rig is to refill it with water and let it run through the entire cycle. 

7) Alcohol –

If you find that you need to clean something else, such as the glass bubbler, instead of just rinsing your rig, use alcohol to clean it. After filling your rig with water, heat the water to 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius) and soak your bubbler overnight. The next day, pour off all the water and replace it with fresh water. Let it sit for another hour, then repeat the process once more. 

8) Paper Towel –

If you’re feeling lazy, you can always use a paper towel to clean your rig. Just make sure to avoid putting anything combustible near your rig while doing so. 

9) Old Tampons –

If you aren’t comfortable using chemicals to clean your rig, you could try using old tampons. Insert them into your rig and let them dissolve all the crud stuck between the walls. 

10) Toothpicks –

If nothing else works, you can always use toothpicks to clean your rig. Just remember to only use them on the outside of your rig, and not anywhere near the heating element. 

11) Dry Erase Marker –

If none of the above options work, you can always resort to using a dry erase marker. All you need to do is rub the marker across the surface of your rig until it removes all the gunk. 

12) Baking Powder –

If nothing else works, you can always use baking powder to clean your rig. Sprinkle some baking powder directly onto your rig, let it sit for 30 minutes, and then rinse with hot water. 

13) Cloth –

If you have a cloth, you can use it to wipe down your rig after cleaning it. 

14) Bleach –

If you really, truly, absolutely, must clean your rig with bleach, only do so under supervision of a trained professional.
